I was recently sorely misjudged as an ESTJ when I am really INTP (or on a full moon day, an INFP). Then someone asked me if I could get along with an ISFJ and should I really date an INTJ --because really if opposites attract, then I should date an ESFP or an ESTP at the very least. This not so long after discovering that Mars and Venus have been fighting in my house of true love for ages and I might have missed the one 72 hour window of luck in love last week. So if my HBDI says that I am tri-dominant in use of my brain, and eharmony.com says I am a romantic idealist, but chemistry.com says (oh yeah, I didn't sign up for that one, so I don't know).......
Human relationships have taken on a new dimension that I am not sure I am ready for. Call me old-fashioned, but I believe in the KPMF2FLHG method.........Kindness, Polite Manners, Face to Face, Listening, honesty and genuine.
It takes time to get to know someone and here we are trying to identify people with quick quizzes. What's next? Run someone through an MRI before dating them (if the wrong part of their brain lights up, its a no go)? Or perhaps check out their genetic code before working with them ("I'm sorry, I can't work with you; you have a few amino acids off base")
I think I'll get to know someone over a cup of coffee maybe over several weeks or months with conversation, giggles, eye contact and hugs.......even if, gasp, they are a tea drinker!
